Programs & Projects

FIAAI Tackling Smoking

is a statewide program based in Launceston and funded by the Commonwealth Dept of Health and Ageing. The program is part of the Australian campaign to close the gap in Indigenous health by reducing smoking rates in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.

The Tackling Smoking Team takes a population health approach and works with organisations and community groups to provide activities, resources and knowledge that can assist in achieving these goals.
